I'm almost ashamed to think about the long list of artists and writers I swiped from in the course of a decade's worth of King of the B-Movies. (See if you can spot the self-portrait!)
And then, partway through the 1989 Christmas Special I had a bit of a do...
Somehow, after that the magic just wasn't there. The completely dismantled pages appeared more frequently. I'd broken it. It took a few years before the final Easter Egg Parade brought the curtain down on the whole thing. It was self-indulgent fun for a while but all things come to an end.

I saw oor wullie sitting on his bucket. And then I spotted pooh and Eyeore - well! I had to go and have a lie down.
Did you draw all that? Was it ever published? It's quite Robert Crumb-esque.
dinahmow: some of the other pages put people off Shredded Wheat
Gadjo: I did; thank you; and I wish I were half as good as him
You do the drawing and I'll write your words... what a team we could be :-)
