Operation Errol Flynn

When my grandfather was pinned down by sniper fire in a banana grove in Burma I wonder if he ever imagined I'd be sat here watching a train called "The Spirit of Osaka" taking Chinese white goods to what used to be the Empire's largest industrial park.

Weren't we lucky to have Errol to do the Burma job for us?

Pat: My granddad was in charge of a bunch of big Kenyan lads from the East Africa Rifles. When they got back to India they went to the pictures for R&R. The film was "Operation Burma." Not a black face on film. They wrecked the cinema.

Which Empire?? Well done the Kenyan lads - now that's a film I'd go and see.
