Bugger.
The flight ban is lifted.
I know, I know... A lot of people I know have been massively incommoded by the fallout from the Iceland volcano, stranded at one or other end of journeys with expensive and stressful consequences. I know this and I am appalled at their plight.
Oh, but it has been so peaceful.
Bon voyage, those of you who are hoping to travel hopefully.

I wonder how the people living next door to Heathrow feel about it?
Sx
About 10.30 last night I heard one go over. I'm pleased for the people who need to travel and that goods can now reach us in UK, but as you say it was oh, so peaceful.
We've had lots of cheeky little biplanes buzzing around playing lord of the skies
I wonder if Pat is talking about Charlie Lindbergh.
With the flights back on you should be able to rid England of all the stupid American tourists asking stupid questions like, "What time do the performances begin at Piccadilly Circus?"
It has been odd to gaze out over the flight path that I can see from my window and see nothing. But at least it's back in time for my hols.
