We had a singer just like the first one who always sang 'Dear little Donkey' in that quavery falsetto at Sunday School concerts and we horrible kids sniggered.
I've featured Mrs. Miller before, in duet with Jimmy Durante. She seriously thought she was a good singer at first. By the time it became patently obvious that her audience was taking the Mickey she seemed to be having too good a time to very much care. And good on her for it.
I don't know a thing about her but that's the worst cover of that song I've ever heard.
ReplyDeleteoh my, sugar! *shiver* xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteA total lack of musicality, covered (poorly) by a smattering of opera-style training - we have a few people in our choir like that :-)
