The shock of self-awareness

Margaret Hilda Thatcher, in her pomp, declared that any man over the age of thirty who was still relying on bus services was a loser.

Belatedly I am come to the conclusion that the bitch was right after all.

As you are known to say, Bollocks. You are not a loser. Stay away from some of the right-wing oiks on Facebook.

  3. Did she really say that? She seemed to have almost no sense of responsibility - astonishing, really.

  6. She was just very provincial, darling. Anyway I believe the quote is misattributed: I think it was the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire who said it (and she really would have had no reason to know what a bus was).
