That very nice Pat recently gave us the Teddy Bears' Picnic, which is pretty much what I need at the moment. The world is always a better place for a bit of the Home Service.
Go on, then: have us believe you didn't sing along with the second one!
You know, I'd completely forgotten about Nellie :-( But you brought it all back and now it'll be running through my head for the rest of the day, if not the rest of the week.
I sang along to both, Kevvy, and it was very nice. Reminded me of Pennies From Heaven in (about) 1983. I used to walk around with a soundtrack in my head just like Gemma Craven. Still do, most of the time. Last week I took the gorgeous old harridan to see Of Time and the City. Same effect. We both came out of the cinema singing and crying.

ReplyDeleteOh the Boogeyman is vairy English isn't he - perfect enunciation.
ReplyDeleteWhat Ho!
I sang along to the second one. I confess. I may even sing along again, just for the sheer exuberance of it.
ReplyDeleteThere you go, Chris, we live to be of service.
ReplyDeleteNothing like a bit of Received Prononciation, eh, Kaz? (-;
Madame dF: tell your colleagues you're practising for Iceland!
