End of Part One

Just after the hit radio show "The Burkiss Way" and before "Whoops Apocalypse," here we find Andrew Marshall and David Renwick writing the nice, genteel, drawing-room comedy that we just don't see any more...

I don't remember this show, Kevin, it's rather good, what was it called?

Loved the Nationwide spoof.
That must be from the era that time forgot. It seems to have completely passed me by.

It was "End of Part One," an LWT comedy series that ran on Sunday teatimes in the very early 80s. The sketches are a bit hit-and-miss but it was a brave effort.

It rings far off distant bells Kevin.

My word, I have almost all of The Burkiss Way on audio tape and Whoops Apocalypse was one of my favourite films as a teenager.

Excellent choices sir :)
